E.D. FILMS is a multi-disciplinary animation studio based in Montreal whose work encompasses linear films, immersive experiences, digital creation tools and tutorials. For the occasion of Fantasia 2022, E.D. FILMS is excited to share an exclusive “sneak peek” of upcoming animated short RETOUR À HAIRY HILL, a fantastical fable based on the true story of a young girl struggling to understand who she is to become as her parents and siblings gradually succumb to the northern wilderness she calls home. Intricately crafted using simple paper and contemporary CG techniques, this is E.D. co-founder Daniel Gies’ animated tribute to family folklore. – E.D FILMS
